The firm
Built on purpose. Driven by the work.
Albazian Law stands with people who have been harmed—and believes careful, determined advocacy can make a difference.
Our purpose
The person behind the case.
The responsibility behind the harm.
Albazian Law is a plaintiffs’ law firm based in downtown Oakland. We represent people seriously injured by negligence and wrongdoing across the Bay Area and Northern California, and investigate harms that may affect many people.
Our work begins with a straightforward belief: access to civil justice matters. People deserve to understand their rights and to have their cases approached with care, credibility, and preparation.
Founder Yusuf Al-Bazian brings experience in personal injury, class actions, mass torts, securities and shareholder litigation, financial fraud, and consumer protection. That background informs how we investigate facts, evaluate responsibility, and prepare every matter.
Our approach
Attention is part of the work.
Know the person. Understand the facts.
We begin by listening. What happened, how it has affected your life, and what you need to understand all matter to how we evaluate a case.
Prepare deliberately.
Strong advocacy depends on evidence. We work to build fact-driven, document-supported cases and make decisions with a clear view of their strengths and weaknesses.
Stay accountable.
Clients have direct access to the attorney handling their matter. We explain the work, discuss the choices, and are candid about whether the firm is the right fit.
Oakland roots
Our home. Our starting point.
Yusuf was born in Oakland and grew up in El Sobrante and Berkeley. He attended Berkeley High School, UC Berkeley, and UC Law San Francisco. Building the firm here is a continuation of those roots.
From our office at Harrison and 20th, we serve people across the East Bay, the wider Bay Area, and Northern California. Local knowledge and a broader view of plaintiffs’ litigation shape the work together.

Access to justice extends beyond a case.
Yusuf serves on the board of the National Lawyers Guild’s San Francisco Bay Area Chapter and on Public Justice’s Access to Justice Committee. He co-founded the National Plaintiffs’ Law Association and founded Muslim Legal Connect to connect the Muslim community with legal resources and lawyers.
These commitments reflect the same purpose as the firm: making the civil justice system more accessible to the people who need it.
