I run a boutique practice representing individuals and entities across a focused set of matters. The work ranges from advocating for people who have been seriously harmed to advising founders building something new—but the approach is the same throughout: deliberate, prepared, and grounded in careful judgment rather than volume.
Keeping the practice small is a deliberate choice. It lets me take on matters selectively, stay close to the details of each one, and give clients direct access to the attorney actually doing the work.
Beyond my practice, I hold leadership positions and stay engaged in efforts to widen access to civil justice nationwide. I currently serve on the board of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild and on the Access to Justice Committee of Public Justice.
In law school I co-founded the National Plaintiffs’ Law Association, an organization working to grow plaintiff-side presence and job opportunities across the country. I competed on the UC Law San Francisco trial team and served as president of the Muslim Law Student Association.

I practice law because I believe in the importance of the civil justice system and the role it plays in holding wrongdoers accountable. I take cases where I can make a meaningful difference, I do not take every matter that comes through the door, and I am transparent with potential clients about the strengths and weaknesses of their situation. That approach lets me focus my time and resources where I can provide the most value.
